For those seeking NC Environmental Education Credits
For those working on earning their NC Environmental Education Certification, you are eligible for Criteria 2 credit by spending additional time exploring your area for calling amphibians. You should log 4 hours in the field listening for frogs and toads (you may do this over multiple days). Use the FrogCall Workshop EE Field Log to record your effort. You may also submit recordings from your field observations. See below for instructions.
To learn more about the NC Environmental Education Certification program, visit https://www.eenorthcarolina.org/certification
Submit sound files from your observations
- If you have a google account (gmail address) you can click the Submit Audio Button below. It will open a new window on a Google Drive folder and you can drag and drop any files there. Feel free to rename the files with the location. Even if you don’t know if you’re hearing anything, and just want us to take a listen, feel free to submit!
- If you do not have a Google Account or prefer to email the files, email to CitizenScience@ncwildlife.org. Include the location information with the email.
